Two Men Charged With Illegal Possession of an Assault Weapon
#Bridgeport CT – Dec. 3, 2013- – Police arrested two men who were on probation after discovering an assault rifle and a high-capacity magazine in their North Avenue apartment. Bridgeport Police assisted the state Office of Adult Probation Monday in conducting a “compliance check” on the residence of Giovanni Candelario, 20, who is on supervised release. A relative, Ramon Candelario, 23, who also resides at that address, also is on supervised release. According to Detective Sanford Dowling, authorities recovered the SKS 7.62 X 39mm rifle inside a closet behind a furnace duct blower. Also recovered was a 100-round magazine that contained 95 .233-caliber rounds. Authorities recovered other weapon-related items. Quick garage fire knockdown prevents house fire
FAIRFIELD, CT, December 3, 2013: At 7:07pm on Tuesday night the Fairfield Emergency Communication Center received a 911 call reporting an attached garage fire with no car inside at 271 Shady Hill Road, followed shortly thereafter by another call from a neighbor reporting “a major fire next door”. Fairfield Fire Engines 1, 2, 3, 5, Ladders 1, 2, and Car 3 responded, with Car 3 first on the scene at 7:12pm confirming the garage “fully engulfed in flame” with all occupants out of the house and calling for a fifth Engine. 1 Of The White Gloved Bandits Arrested Tonight
10:27pm--#Stratford CT--#Bridgeport CT--Just before 10:30 Tuesday night the I&I Food Store located at 1796 Barnum Avenue was robbed by what police call the White Gloved Bandits because well, they both wear all black except for white gloves. The duo have been terrorizing and robbing businesses in Bridgeport and just recently in Stratford for a couple of months now. Outstanding coordination by both Stratford and Bridgeport Police and detectives had an arrest by 11pm. The suspect was arrested outside 272 Benham Avenue in Bridgeport.
Chromebook Robbery at Burger King
#Bridgeport CT--Police are looking for a six foot white male with a beard who robbed a person of their Google Chromebook at the Burger King at 193 Boston Avenue. No weapon was displayed.

White Gloved Bandits Strike Again
10:27pm--#Stratford CT--The I&I Food Store at 1796 Barnum Avenue was just hit by the "White Gloved" Bandits. A gun was displayed. Bridgeport Police are working with Stratford Police and detectives since many of the robberies have happened in Bridgeport by the duo. They are called the White Gloved Bandits because they wear all black but they wear white gloves.
