8:39pm--#Fairfield CT--- A shoplifter was taken into custody after stuffing Red Bull Energy drinks down his sweatshirt and fleeing the Cumberland Farms at 975 Kings Hwy East.

#Bridgeport CT #Fairfield CT--Last night a concerned citizen called Bridgeport Police for a middle eastern looking man leaving a package near a utility pole turned out to be nothing. Tonight at the Fairfield Starbucks on the Post Road a citizen called called police on two "olive skinned" men speaking a foreign language on Skype while working on a box with wires. Police checked it out and it was nothing.
1:00pm--#Stratford CT--Police are looking for a man and a woman in the Hollister Street Knowlton Street area. I did not catch what they are wanted for.

1:50am---#Bridgeport CT--EMTs are on scene of a car that crashed at the off ramp at exit 29. The car crashed into a light pole and box. They are now requesting the fire department due to possible electrical hazards.
1:34am--#Fairfield CT--Wake up Fairfield! Firefighters on the way to 16 Chestnut Street where the homeowner is reporting sparks and smoke coming from an electrical panel.
7:15pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters are on scene at 818 Brewster Avenue for a carbon monoxide alarm. Two people are complaining of headaches and EMS has been sent to the scene.
Two explosions occurred at the Boston Marathon. At least two dead, 23 injured. UPDATE-- CBS is reporting that Pennsylvania Avenue is being closed off as a precaution. There have been two more explosive devices found that are currently being dismantled. Read more here...
