7:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A boy about 12 years of age was hit by a car on Maplewood Avenue between Park Avenue and Pequonnick Street. First responders said the injuries did not appear to be serious.

6:00pm--#cttraffic-- State police received a call that a woman in a black Toyota Camry with New York plates took a frozen water bottle and threw it at a tractor-trailer near exit 17 then waved a gun at the trucker. 1:00am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police locate shell casings at East Main and East Washington Avenue after reports of shots fired. So far no one or anything reported hit. This news report is made possible by:
8:22pm--#Bridgeport CT--First responders received a call of two adults and two children stuck on the rocks at Seaside Park. Officials launched a "zodiac"/inflatable police and fireboat to rescue what turned out to be four adult males. Assistant Fire Chief Rich D'Onofrio told me that the men were from New York and were unfamiliar with the location and tides. The chief said they are called out a couple times over the summer for these type of rescues despite frequent warnings from the police throughout the day.
10:01pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police investigate a crash at Hancock Avenue and State Street. There was no word on injuries but AMR was on the scene.

#Fairfield CT-- On May 25th, 2018 the Fairfield Police Department School Safety Unit received a report of a bomb threat at Fairfield Warde High School. Preliminary investigation revealed that a juvenile, who is currently in custody at Headquarters, fabricated the threat. As a precautionary measure, the building and high school campus have been evacuated and are currently closed. All activities on school property have been canceled. The police department has just cleared the campus and the threat was deemed not credible. This case is currently being investigated by the Fairfield Police School Safety Unit.
