Bridgeport News: Fire On The East End
11:21pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters were called to a fire on the 3rd floor of 277 Wilmont Avenue. Their quick response kept the fire contained to the thrid floor. The fire marshal was called to investigate the cause. The Red Cross is finding housing for three people.
Stratford News: Dryer Fyer
12:51pm--Stratford CT--A dryer fire at the Soap Box Laundramat at 1344 Main Street. Firefighters reporting the fire is knocked down and "opening up". Radio reports said there were flames coming from the roof upon firefighter's arrival. This news report is made possible by:

11:33pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Victor looks down on what remains of his bicycle after being hit by a car at Fairfield and Yale Street. The driver of the car fled the scene, Victor refused medical treatment.

Bridgeport News: Firefighters Quickly Knock Down Fire
1:33pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters quickly knocked down a fire in the back of a boarded-up house at 66 Revere Street. Fire marshal called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
Bridgeport News: Man Shot On Route 8
State Police UPDATE: Approximately 11:20 a.m., Troop G-Bridgeport responded to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport after hospital staff reported that a male walked into the Emergency Department with a non- life-threatening gunshot wound. The male reported the incident to have occurred on Route 8 southbound in the Bridgeport area. There is no threat to the public as this does not appear to be a random act or road rage-related. Updates will be sent as we get them. 11:39am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police confirm that a man traveling on Route 8 was shot in the shoulder and drove himself to St. Vincent's Hospital. 11:39pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters quickly knocked out a fire at a machine shop on the first floor at 1918 Stratford Avenue. A couple of days ago firefighters were called to a car fire and the car was locked behind the fence and firefighter had to work to get to the car. On October 24th the area was the scene of another fire on the first floor, I'm certain which business that was in.
