4:06pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Dodi from Servpro was quicker than me on the scene to a report of a structure fire at 24 Roosevelt Street. Firefighters reported heavy smoke on their arrival. Turned out to be a self cleaning oven that had something else in the oven as well causing the building to fill up with smoke. If it were something more serious Servpro would have made it Like It Never Even Happened!

#Seymour Connecticut-- Earlier this morning firefighters knocked down a detached garage fire at 24 Roosevelt Drive. Police reported there was ammunition in the garage. There were no reported injuries. During firefighting operation the garage began to bow and firefighters had to finish the attack with the ladder truck. #Monroe Connecticut--On Wednesday, Monroe firefighters extinguished this mason dump truck fire in the driveway of a home on High Ridge Dr. No one was injured.
#Bridgeport Connecticut--On January 7, 2017 at 2105 hours a shooting incident occurred at 1001 E. Main Street. Elianna Cruz (3-24-90) suffered a gunshot wound to the head during this incident. She had been admitted to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment since being shot. On January 11, 2017 at 1510 hours, Cruz passed away. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on January 13, 2017. This shooting is actively being investigated by detectives, and there are strong leads in the case.
