Trumbull News: Incident At Booth Hill School
1:23pm--#Trumbull Connecticut-- WFSB Channel 3 dispatched me to Booth Hill School at 545 Booth Hill Road for a report of a possible man with a rifle in the wooded area near the school. When I arrived on scene all was calm but there was a Trumbull Police SUV and motorcycle on scene. Police said they received a third party call of a report of a man dressed in camouflage with a rifle. When police arrived the did not find anyone. They said that now that is hunting season and hunters are permitted to hunt in the wooded area behind the school. Westport News: Warrant and Heroin Arrest
On 10/03/16 at approximately 6:45pm, Westport Officers responded to the area of Sylvan Road South to attempt to locate a Christopher Evans. Newtown Police held an active warrant for Evans for Larceny. Westport Detectives John Rocke and George Taylor observed a vehicle driving in the area with Evans as the passenger. The vehicle was stopped and Evans was positively identified. While taking Evans into custody, Detectives located 10 small “folds” of presumed heroin in his wallet. The folds tested positive for heroin, with a weight of 3.1 grams. Evans was processed at the Westport Police Department and released to the custody of Newtown Police.
On 09/10/16, Westport Officers were dispatched to the Westport Public Library on a report that a threatening message was found on a computer screen. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with library staff and a patron. The patron stated he attempted to log onto Facebook on a public computer and saw that a Lawrence Kozar did not log out of his account. The patron said he noticed a threatening post on Kozar’s main page, which was directed towards a Westport Police Officer. The threat indicated that a Westport Officer would be buried alive by Kozar. Kozar's Facebook account is not private and his posts can be viewed by anyone who has Facebook. Through the investigation, Kozar was positively identified as the individual using that specific computer at that time.…
