11:41am--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A two truck, one car crash sends the car into the porch at 3376 Park Avenue. No one was seriously injured. As I was leaving I noticed the house across the street on the Fairfield side was getting its finishing touches of repair. It was hit a couple months ago.

9:19pm--#SHU--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- The driver of a pickup truck fled the scene after a collision with a Sacred Heart University bus rolling the bus at the intersection of Cleveland and Lincoln Boulevard. One student was on board. The student and driver of the bus were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Sounds like police have a lead on the driver of the pick up truck.
8:20pm--#Stratford Connecticut-- I'm getting a number of reports (a little late) of a possible shooting at Clover Park at 409 Canaan Road. Witnesses told me they heard 4-5 shots others say more at a car. 8:50pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Robbery at West Side Package Store at 2045 Fairfield Avenue. A black male, short corn rows, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans used a broken bottle as a weapon. Police are searching around Albion Street for the suspect. Taken was $600 cash, 2 small bottles of Hennesy, a one gallon bottle of Hennessy as well as Rémy Martin Cognac. 2:35pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Police investigate a crash at the intersection of Brewster and Fairfield Avenue. The driver of the green truck was injured and taken to the hospital by EMS.
1:55pm--#Bridgeport News: A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a GBT city bus at Jane and Street and Nobel Avenue. Police have downloaded video from the bus and believe from that video that the motorcyclist ran the stop sign and began to “dump” the bike when it entered the intersection and had already hit the ground before hitting the bus. The video shows the 9 year veteran bus driver operating properly and safely according to a police press release. The bus driver was not issued any citation or ticket. 11:58am--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Worker working in the storefront next to Sleepy's at 4531 Main Street were using power equipment that was producing carbon monoxide and did not ventilate the space according to firefighters. The carbon monoxide made its way into into Sleepy's, the employees refused medical treatment. Out of an abundance of caution a number of ambulances were called to the scene.
