11:27pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A report of an overturned paddle boat at the Pleasure Beach Boat Launch with two men in the water.  Police on scene reporting the men made is safely onto the rocks.  The marine unit is continuing on the way to pick them up. 6:28pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut---A witness sitting right in front of the crash told me the black car ran a red light causing this crash at Main and State Street. One person was injured. Bridgeport News: Detective Apprehends Two, One With A Knife

10:33pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A police detective responded to a domestic fight on Jones Avenue. As a woman was screaming at the scene, the officer was approached by two men who allegedly came at him, one with a knife. The detective was able to apprehend both men single handily as back up arrived. One of the suspects required medical attention, the other was taken into custody. 10:33pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Un detective respondío a una pelea en Jones Avenue. Una mujer estaba gritando en la escena, y dos hombres llegaron a la escena con un cuchillo. El detective fue capaz de detener a los dos hombres y espero ayuda que llegara. Stratford News: Cop Pinned After Pursuit

Bridgeport News: Police Investigate 6th Homicide

Bridgeport Police Press Release: On August 27, 2016 at 1637 hours, a shooting incident occurred in front of 21 Wood Terrace. A male victim identified as Shane Slinksky 3/19/98 sustained two gunshot wounds to the head and was pronounced dead at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Detectives are actively working leads, but at this time we have not yet identified a suspect(s) or definitive motive. Slinksky is a resident of Stamford, Ct and has no apparent ties to Bridgeport. Detectives are investigating why he may have been in the city at the time of his death. No shell casings were found at the scene and witnesses heard the gunshots, but we have not identified anyone who saw the shooting take place. .…
