UPDATE: Last night at approximately 2310 hours, 2 men were sitting in a car parked in front of 480 Noble Ave. when an unknown person approached the vehicle and opened fire. Both the driver and passenger were struck by gunfire. The driver, who sustained a non-life-threatening wound, drove to Bridgeport Hospital where the passenger, succumbed to a gunshot wound. Next of Kin notifications have been made. The victim of last night’s homicide is Fredrick Richardson, 37 years old, of 480 Noble Ave.<x-apple-data-detectors://0>Bridgeport. #Westport News: On August 10, 2016, Westport Officers responded to a Cricket Lane address to assist in the recovery of a motor vehicle that had been taken without the owner’s permission. While on scene, Officers observed that a window pane on the front door was shattered and there were pry marks by the door knob.
