#Bridgeport CT-- The Bridgeport Police Department in collaboration with Department of Children and Families, Center for Family Justice, and Neighborhood Church Black Rock will host an informational session on how parents could ‘Unlock the Secrets of Your Child’s Online World’ in regards to phone app safety. The informational session will be held on May 2, 2019 between the hours of 6:00pm-8:00pm at Iglesia Cristiana Renacer Church on 59 Clinton Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06605.  Light refreshments to be served during the session and organizers are asking parents to not bring children. Stratford News: One In Custody After A Burglary

Stratford Police UPDATE: Carlos Lanauze age 34 of Bridgeport was arrested and charged with Burglary 3 rd and Criminal Trespass 3 rd for breaking into a home on Columbus Avenue in Stratford. The incident occurred on 04-12-2019 at approximately 1245pm. Officers were alerted to the burglary by an observant neighbor who saw that the front door of the home was open while the homeowner was away. Lanauze was taken into custody by responding officers when he exited the back door of the home. UPDATE: After police spoke to the victim they found out the stabbing actually occurred at or near Dollar General by a male with dreads accompanied by a heavyset female with a big pocketbook.
