7:33pm--#Fairfield CT-- Firefighters quick response kept a bedroom fire in the 200 block of Mill Hill Road from extending to other parts of the home. The fire marshal and building inspector were called to investigate.

6:28pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Prayers are needed for a mother and child was struck in the crosswalk at Park Avenue and State Street. The mother who was injured her self cared for and comforted the child until EMS arrived. It is possible that the sun glare made it difficult for the white SUV while making the turn to see the pedestrians. The driver was visibly shaken on the scene.

12:06am--#Bridgeport CT-- A woman was beaten unconscious with a baseball bat on Lenox Avenue. She became conscious as EMS put her in the ambulance and was in extreme pain. Police are investigating.
