Fairfield News: 3 and 4 Year Old Get Into Mom’s Drugs
7:30AMish-- #Fairfield Connecticut--A busy Fairfield mom on North Street with three children went to attend to her one year old when the two and four year old got into a bin that had various item including first aid items and a closed bottle of oxycodone. Some how the children managed to get into the bottle. Fairfield Police Lieutenant Robert Kalamaras said there was no indication that the children had ingested anything but on scene. Officer Gary Cahill had no problem convincing the mother to have the children tested at the hospital. Blood was drawn and the results came up negative.
