#Westport, CT-- On October 12, 2017 at approximately 1600 hours, Chief Koskinas was driving by the International Wine Shop (732 Post Road East) and observed two young females each holding a case of beer. He observed the females walk to the back of a vehicle with an open trunk, which contained two additional cases of beer. Chief Koskinas stated both females appeared to be teenagers and under the age of 21. The females were stopped in their vehicle a short distance away. They admitted to purchasing the beer from International Wine Shop and stated they had not been asked for identification. 10:55pm--#Bridgeport CT-- There were only minor injuries reported in a crash at the corner of Birmingham and Wayne Street. The driver of the black Mercedes went through a chain linked fence at 821 Wayne Street and post of the fence came within inches of the driver's head. The car came to a rest without penetrating the home. The homeowner was asleep when the crash happened. The other car car came to a stop about 3 houses down.
8:08pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a carjacking at Prescott and Ellsworth Street. The victim said a man with a gun jumped in his car somewhere near Home Depot at Sylvan/Reservoir Avenue area where the victim was told to get out of the car. The carjacked car hit several parked cars in Black Rock before he abandoned the car at Prescott and Ellsworth Street. It is not clear how the man located his car. The suspect fled on foot down Prescott Street. EMS was called but the victim was not injured.
5:05pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A firetruck was hit at Park and West McKinley Avenue while responding to a a crash between two cars from New York at McKinley and Lincoln Avenue.
