Bridgeport News: Man Found Dead In Burger King Was There Since Last Night

12:12am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police, fire and EMS were called to the Burger King at 193 Boston Avenue for a medical call.  Police confirmed that a white male in his early twenties went to the men's room overnight and locked the door.   The overdose happened in the bathroom passed away sometime overnight.  He was discovered sometime around noon time.  The restaurant was closed and the health inspector was called.

Bridgeport News: Arrest Made In Homicide #18

#Bridgeport CT-- On April 27th, 2017, Bridgeport Police responded to Saint Vincent's Hospital on a report of an assault. According to witnesses, Victor Diaz (DOB: 9/12/1990) was assaulted by several friends at Dewhirst Street and Baker Street, during which he suffered an asthma attack.  Diaz was admitted to the hospital and three days later, on April 30th, 2017, he died. A subsequent autopsy concluded that his death was directly related to the attack and was ruled a homicide.    Latia Quarles (DOB: 1/19/94 of 575 Burnsford Ave) was arrested and charged with Manslaughter in the First Degree for her role in Diaz's death. She is being held on $150,000 bond. Additional arrests are expected shortly.

Fairfield News: 2 Cars In Separate Incidents Take Off On Fairfield Police

1:55am--#Fairfield CT-- Police had two vehicles take off on them after attempted traffic stops.  The first one happened on Mill Plain Road but police lost sight of the Volvo sedan within minutes.  A second incident happened on the Merritt Parkway northbound after attempting to stop a black Honda Accord with three teens inside.  Fairfield Police deployed spike strips which the car reportedly hit the spikes.  Fairfield Police broke off the pursuit around exit 48 near Main Street in Trumbull.   This news report is made possible by:
