#Westport Ct-- At approximately 4:20 Monday afternoon, Westport Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 399 Post Road West, in front of Whole Foods Market, for a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries. Engine 4, Engine 2, Rescue 3 and an Assistant Chief responded to the call. Due to the location of the accident, Norwalk Fire Department also responded with one Engine and a Shift Commander. The first arriving units confirmed a car into a utility pole on Post Road West with one occupant still inside the car. Westport Police UPDATE: Arrested for the above incident were Fernando Morales, 41, of Derby, CT and Rafael Valle, 34, of Bridgeport, CT. Morales was arrested and charged with C.G.S 53a-60 Assault 2nd, 53a-63 Reckless Endangerment 1 st and C.G.S 53a-181 Breach of Peace. He was released after posting $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Court on November 6 th . Valle was charged with 53a-63 Reckless Endangerment 1 st . #Westport News: On 10/05/2017, the victims came to police headquarters to report a theft from their business by an employee. The victims stated their bookkeeper, Kimberly Goodman, 33, of Bridgeport, made fraudulent transactions in order to credit her personal accounts multiple times a month. From February 2017 until October 2017, Goodman entered fraudulent return transactions, crediting over $29,000 to her own personal credit and debit cards from the business account. On 10/17/17, Goodman turned herself in on an active arrest warrant at police headquarters. She was charged with CGS 53a-122 Larceny 1 st and released on $10,000 non-surety bond.
