WTNH Meterologist Arrest On Child Porn Charges

On July 13, 2016 detectives from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations and the Hamden Police Department served a Search and Seizure Warrant at 1521 Aspen Glen Dr., Hamden. The search warrant was part of an on-going investigation into the possession of child pornography. State Police detectives initiated the investigation in June 2016 after video files of suspected child pornography were downloaded from the Internet account assigned to Justin Goldstein. Computers and computer-related equipment were seized from Goldstein's residence during the search. The seized items were examined on-scene, and files of suspected child pornography were located. Today’s Vehicle Fire

UPDATE: There were two on the boat, one was burned.  That explains him jumping into the water.  He was able to put the fire out with a dry chemical extinguisher. 5:30pm--#Stratford Connecticut--Today's vehicle fire is a boat located under the Devon Bridge.  The fire was in the engine compartment and now out (the red and white boat in the picture).  Other boaters were quick to assist.

FedEx Employee Delivers Himself To Cops

On 07-05- 2016 Alexander Perez age 40 of Waterbury surrendered himself to Stratford Officers as a result of a warrant issued for his arrest. Perez who was employed by FedEx allegedly took several boxes intended for FEDEX customers that had been accidentally dropped off at UPS. Rather than deliver the boxes Perez removed the items from the boxes and discarded the shipping containers. The boxes contained display screens for computers and GPS units valued at approximately $4200 dollars. The theft occurred on 05-04- 2016. Perez was charged with Larceny 3 rd and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on 07- 15-2016.
