Bridgeport News: 2 Youths Arrested In Sweet 16 Shooting
Bridgeport – Bridgeport Police today are announcing the arrests of two juvenile suspects in connection with a shooting incident on November 12, 2016 where five people were shot at Club Sportivo, located at 2500 Park Avenue in Bridgeport. “I want to thank the men and women of the Bridgeport Police Detective Bureau for their round the clock efforts and good, thorough police work that has led to the arrests of these two individuals,” said Bridgeport Police Chief Armando “AJ” Perez. “We will continue to investigate this crime until we bring all those responsible to justice. 8:11pm-- A fight during dinner between a minor brother and sister resulted in the sister being struck and cut by a knife thrown by the brother on Maplewood Avenue.
