Bridgeport News: Water Rescue False Alarm
2:40pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Police, fire and marine units were called to West Beach at Seaside Park for a water rescue. Heavy surf (well for our area) and loosening swimming buoys may have been thought to be what appeared to be someone in the water. His untimely death is a family tragedy first and foremost, and it is a shock to his friends and the entire school community --as well as all of Shelton. We need to support the Sabo family and all of our students at this most difficult time. Jonathan was 15, please keep his family in your prayers.

Stratford News: Store Robbed
2:30ish AM--Stratford Connecticut--The Stratford Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred overnight (09-22- 2016) at approximately 230am. The incident occurred at the 24/7 store located at 1607 Barnum Avenue. During the incident two unknown black male entered the store and demanded money from the store attendant at gun point The male on the cell phone entered the store prior to the robbery and possibly acted as the lookout. All three parties fled the scene together the pictured vehicle. There was a fourth unknown person involved driving the car. Approximately $600 dollars was taken. No one was hurt during the incident.
