Stratford Police Officer Hit By Car
2:35am--#Bridgeport Connecticut--#Stratford Connecticut-- A Stratford Police Sergeant was hit by a car while on a manhunt in Bridgeport on Park Avenue near Herkimer Street. Stratford Police responded to 7 Woodend Road in Stratford where suspects attempted to break in to the Dynasty Chinese Restaurant. A pursuit ensued onto I-95 exiting at 27A where things were thrown out of the car by the suspects. They exited to Route 8/25 where they exited exit 2, again throwing items out of the car. State Police assisted in recovering the items. The sergeant walked to the ambulance with EMS, was checked out and released. There was one person in handcuffs at the scene.
Police Activity On The Highway
2:11am--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport Connecticut--There will be police activity on I-95 near exit 27A and Route 8/25 exit 2 for evidence recovery. Stratford was in pursuit of a gray Hyundai responsible allegedly for robbery at the Dynasty Chinese Restaurant at 7 Woodend Road in Stratford. The suspects were seen throwing items out of the car at those exits. A manhunt for the suspects continue behind Central High School near North Avenue. This report was made possible by:
Tonight’s Vehicle Fire
12:55am--Tonight's vehicle fire was a one vehicle rollover, a minivan at Park Avenue near Cleveland Avenue. The people in the minivan got out of the van and fled on foot.

1:11am--#Stratford Connecticut--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Stratford Police were in pursuit of a silver Hyundai on I-95 and the pursuit ended behind Central High School. They are now near Herkimer Street. Police are looking for two Hipanic males both wearing jeans, one a white t-shirt. Fairfield News: CVS Robbed
UPDATE: Fairfield Police Press Release: On 6/24/2016, at 1:30 PM, a Robbery was reported at CVS Pharmacy, 1968 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, CT. A white male wearing a black shirt, and baseball hat, approached the pharmacy and demanded Oxycodone indicating if they did not comply, someone would get hurt. The subject fled the CVS store with a large quantity of Oxycodone pills. The Fairfield Police is asking assistance in identifying the below pictured suspect.
