10:30ish--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Police are investigating two street robberies. One at Boston and North Avenue a man was robbed of his cellphone and wallet with $80 in it. No mention of a weapon. A few moments later a man was getting off a city bus when teens approached him Yale and State Street and robbed him of his his cellphone and wallet. Bridgeport, CT – With the start of the summer season,Mayor Joe Ganim today joined Connecticut US Senator Richard Blumenthal and Congressman Jim Himes (CT-04) joined community leaders in The Hollow neighborhood to raise community awareness of simple steps that can be taken to prevent the spread of Zika virus, West Nile Virus, and other mosquito-borne diseases.
