Ganim At Odds With O&G Debris Pile On Seaside Avenue
#Bridgeport Connecticut--Mayor Ganim, city officials and concerned citizens gathered across the street from O & G site at 1225 Seaview Avenue Friday. Mayor Ganim read excerpts from a Order to Comply in violating a Certificate of Zoning Compliance or have a Coastal Site Plan. The mayor said it was like another Mount Trashmore the mayor fought the first time he was mayor. Citizens came out for health concerns and worried that the company would move its operations to Seaside Village, within a quarter mile of schools and Seaside Park. City Attorney R. #Bridgeport Connecticut--Budget woes continue to hamper communications from the Bridgeport Police Department. When Mayor Ganim took office he quickly hired Av Harris to head the mayor's communication department at $100,000 and then Michael Giannotti for the police spokesman at $63,500, Michael lasted only a month and since January the police department has been running without spokesman.
