Bridgeport News: Shots Fired During Robbery Attempt
9:11pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Police and detectives are on scene at the Beechmont Mini Mart at 464 Beechmont Avenue for an armed robbery. Police on patrol first reported hearing shots fired in the Main Street area then received the call for the robbery. It is uncertain at this time if the shots were fired at the mini mart. There is also a police presence on Ridgewood Place, it appears they are looking for shell casings there too. A dark colored sedan was seen speeding north on Main Street after the shots were fired.
