1:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police were dispatched to Gregory and Park Avenue for a man in a mask and cape with a sign saying "I'll Eat Your Soul" according to radio reports. The sign actually read I'll Work For Your Soul" and when I arrived I found Derrick and his friends having fun with people passing by the corner store. Thank you Derrick for a fun start to my reporting day! The world needs more Derricks!

Weston, CT (October, 30, 2015): The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner positively identified the human remains as that of Jeffrey Navin (DOB 3/24/1959) and Jeanette Navin (2/1/1960), the couple reported missing from Easton on August 4, 2015. Through the course of their investigation detectives from Western District Major Crime (WDMC) applied for, and were granted an arrest warrant by the Bridgeport Superior Court for Kyle Navin and Jennifer Valiante. n October 30, 2015 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Jennifer Valiante was taken into custody at her residence, and transported to Troop G-Bridgeport where she was processed. Upon completion of processing, Jennifer Valiante was transported to New Haven detention where she was held on bond pending her court date. #Westport CT--#Weston CT-- Very heavy State and Westport Police on Reichert Circle in Westport tonight. Unconfirmed reports say a woman was arrested in connection to the two bodies found at at 89 Norfield Road in Weston, possibly Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin who have been missing since August 4th.

#Weston CT-- State Police Spokesperson Trooper Kelly Grant confirmed that the remains found at 89 Northfield Road in Weston are in fact human. An unconfirmed but highly reliable source to DoingItLocal.com told us that the remains are in fact that of Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin. Jeffrey Navin, 56, is president of J&J Refuse, and his wife Jeanette Navin, 55 is a Weston Intermediate School library paraprofessional. They have been missing since August 4th. No word on any suspects at this time. Police were cautious in confirming information. They did confirm that the remains of two people were found outside 89 Northfield Road. They did check inside the residence with the owner's permission but found nothing. The house was empty…
