4:31pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A fifteen year old male was shot in the back and neck at Trumbull Gardens this afternoon. He was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital where he is in stable condition. Two males, both with guns were seen fleeing in a dark colored car. Witness said about 6-8 shots were fired, police have a crime scene at 410 Trumbull Gardens. The witnesses in the 470 block said the teen then fell on parked cars asking them to call 911, he then left in a private vehicle. 11:14pm--#Ansonia CT-- A reported structure fire at 49 Bridge Street. Originally called in as a fire on the roof next door to 15 West Main Street. Ansonia firefighters immediately called in mutual aid to Derby. At 11:31pm they called additional volunteers from Ansonia to the scene. Video Report---8:30ish--Around 8:30pm Bridgeport Police Department received numerous for shots fired in the 800 block of Madison Avenue. When police arrived they found an unresponsive 17 year old black male Madison Avenue and Frank Street. The victim was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital but multiple sources say he did not make it. This has been confirmed by Bridgeport Police spokesman Kevin Coughlin. Neighbors tell me that the gunshots were in rapid succession and they could not count the number of shots fired. #Bridgeport CT--Mayor Finch announced today that he is dropping out of the race for the mayor for the city of Bridgeport. Finch lost the Democratic Nomination to former mayor Joe Ganim who was convicted of extortion while the mayor of Bridgeport and served prison time. Finch put his support behind business woman Mary Jane Foster.
12:00pm--#cttraffic--#Fairfield CT--Today's car fire is in Fairfield on I-95 northbound just before exit 19. A dry chemical extinguisher put the fire out on the trailer that was in tow. Firefighter now on scene only the left lane is getting by.

On 9/28/2015, the Principal of Mill Hill School, requested assistance from the Police School Safety Unit regarding possible drugs being possessed by a school custodian. During the investigation, officers seized a small amount of marijuana, two small containers which contained a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia. The items were seized from a vehicle parked in the parking lot. The custodian for the elementary school was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Illegal Possession Near a School, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
