Bridgeport’s New Paving System (Video Report)
#Bridgeport CT--Last time I interviewed Jorge Garcia of the Bridgeport Public Facilities and he was showing off the Pot Hole Killer and how quickly it filled pot holes. Now Jorge has discovered a new way to repave roads faster at a fraction of the cost of the traditional "mill and fill" system. The new system not only recycles but is much faster. Typically it takes a week to pave a road, the new system repaves the road in a day. Off camera Jorge mentioned that this faster system does not inconvenience those that park on the street for the week as well. The city is paving a historic 30 miles of roads this year.
