4:35pm--#Bridgeport CT--Car crashes continue to dominate the scanner chatter today.  This time on Norman Street.  Witnesses told me the SUV truck was traveling at a high rate of speed on Norman Street weaving back and forth when it struck these parked vehicles, sending one of them into a garage but causing minor damage to the structure.  The SUV continue for another half block coming to a stop at the intersection of the Eaton Street.  Firefighters told me there were two injuries and they were transported to the hospital by AMR. Bridgeport News: Man Arrested After Crashing Into Police Cruiser

(Bridgeport, CT -- Nov. 15, 2014) -- A city man faces felony charges after crashing his vehicle into a police cruiser.According to Sgt. Angelo Collazo, he and Officers Rafael  Duran, Michael Falbo and Paul Nikola responded to Putnam Street on a report of a domestic dispute this morning at approximately 9:30 a.m.  Duran received information through dispatchers that the suspect left the the scene before he arrived.Duran circled the block and observed the suspect, who was swerving back and forth into incoming lanes. Duran pulled to the side of the road for safety but the vehicle swerved and crashed directly into his vehicle. Westport Police Arrest 2 in Credit Card Fraud

#Westport CT-- On Friday November 14, 2014 at approximately 11:45am, Westport Police responded to DOWNUNDER, 575 Riverside Avenue, on a report of potential credit card fraud /Identity Theft. Suspects phoned in a request to purchase merchandise, then planned to arrive later to pick it up. After the phone order was placed, employees from the store called the credit card company to verify the purchase. After determining the purchase was fraudulent, the police were contacted. Westport Police Detectives and Officers maintained observation in the area and waited for the suspects to arrive. At approximately 2:30pm, two males arrived to claim the items. Officers were able to take them into custody without incident. Suspects were identified as Ibrahim Alhassan and Craig Kelly. Alhassan and Kelly are scheduled to appear…

Westport News: Suspicious Death Investigated

At 0907 hrs a jogger on Partrick Rd located an unresponsive African American male lying on the shoulder of the roadway wearing only a white tank top, blue jeans and brown colored shoes. The jogger flagged down a passing motorist who contacted police. Both the motorist  and the jogger initiated CPR on the individual who was treated and transported from the scene by Westport EMS. The individual was brought to Norwalk Hospital where efforts to resuscitate him failed and he was pronounced dead at 0956 hrs. There were no visible signs of trauma evident on the individual. The identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. If anyone observed anything suspicious or unusual in the area of 47 Partrick Rd please contact the Westport…
