6:44pm--#Easton CT--EMS on the way to Sport Hill Road for a 7 month old who fell down a flight of stairs. Earlier in a different part of Sport Hill Road EMS was dispatched for a boy who broke his arm. Ccsme en el camino a Sport Hill Road para un bebé de 7 meses que se cayó por las escaleras. Anteriormente, en una parte diferente del Sport Hill Road ccsme fue enviado para un chico que se rompió el brazo. It was a pleasure meeting Karen Gorden at Stan's Jamaican Kitchen located at 16 Tunxis Hill Road in Fairfield, right near the town line of North Avenue Bridgeport. Stan's Jamaican Kitchen is Fairfield's ONLY Jamaican Restaurant. They specialize in Jerk Chicken, Oxtail, Brown Stew Chicken, Escovitch Tilapia, Curry Goat (my favorite) and Curry Chicken. Take out is their main business but there is a small window counter for eat in. Hours are Monday through Saturday 11am to 8pm and Visa and MasterCard is accepted, delivery is not available at this time but they are working on it. Bridgeport Man Arrested For Burglary

#Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 9, 2014 – A city man was arrested for burglarizing a house on Pearl Harbor Street. Officer Ricardo Lopez responded to the area on a report of a suspicious male walking through yards of the area. As he arrived in the area, he learned that Officers Darryl Wilson and Ricky Dewitt-Smith had a possible suspect in custody who had fled when he saw the officers. While they were investigating, a female called out for police and reported that her house had been burglarized. Police discovered that someone had forced entry and rifled through drawers in the victim’s bedroom. Police brought the victim to the police car and she immediately identified as hers items that had been recovered from the…

4:50pm--#Norwalk CT--A report of a collision between a tug boat and a rowing crew boat accident. Reports say member of the rowing crew are in the water, unknown injuries. Caller now says both boats have left the area. Un informe de una colisión entre un remolcador y un accidente de barco con remos tripulación. Malloy today announced that over 900 Connecticut residents have re enrolled in college to complete their associate or bachelor’s degree at one of the 17 Connecticut State Colleges & Universities using a free course offer from the Go Back to Get Ahead program. The program, which launched June 2, is open to Connecticut residents who were previously enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program but did not complete their degree, or who completed an associate degree but did not go on to complete a bachelor’s. Motor Vehicle Leads to Seizure of Heroin, Marijuana

#Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 9, 2014 – A motor vehicle stop led to three arrests Monday afternoon. Officer Carlos Vazquez pulled over the vehicle near the corner of East Main and Howe streets. He noticed the odor of marijuana and observed what appeared to be a bag of marijuana inside the vehicle. The driver stated that he and his passengers had been smoking marijuana earlier. The driver, Jaquan Bryant, 24, of Bridgeport, also indicated that the car was not licensed or insured. As police prepared to tow the car, officers discovered 38 baggies of heroin packaged for street sale inside the vehicle. Bryant was charged with motor vehicle violations and with possession of narcotics and possession with intent to sell narcotics. His bond…
