Bridgeport Police Charge Man in Hit-and-Run Fatality
#Bridgeport, CT – Aug. 11, 2014 – Police have charged a city man in connection with a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred Saturday. Police charged Dennis Berrios, 36, on Sunday with evading responsibility. The incident remains under investigation and additional charges are possible. The victim has been identified as Tyron Tate, 21. The incident happened at 10 p.m. in the 600 block of Noble Avenue. Witnesses at the scene reported that the 21-year-old victim was walking with several other people when he was struck in the roadway. He later was pronounced dead at the hospital.
