Bridgeport News: Fire On Brewster Street
7:21pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters were called to 800 Brewster Street for fire at an air conditioning unit. The fire extended to the first and second floors but firefighters quickly knocked down the blaze. The fire had traveled between the floors through the walls. Firefighters opened the walls and ensured the fire did not extend elsewhere and made sure there were no embers that can reignite the fire. Assistant Fire Chief Ismael Pomales told me that the air conditioner unit is suspected but that is for the fire marshal who was called to the scene to determine. There were no reported injuries.
