8:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--The Subway at 926 East Main Street was robbed at gunpoint. Police are looking for a white male, about 6 foot tall wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, a partial lower face mask over his facial hair. The part of the handle of the gun came off upon exiting the store. He made off with $200 and fled on foot north on East Main Street. This was about a half mile from where the shooting took place around 7:30pm
7:40pm--#Bridgeport CT--Report of man shot on Hamilton Street (off East Main Street) UPDATE: Man was shot in the arm and injuries are not life threatening. Witnesses told me it was possibly over a domestic argument but police have not confirmed this. The police investigation has just begun.

(Bridgeport, CT – March 11, 2014) – A 22-year-old woman faces an assault charge after a dispute. Officer Dave Rivera was dispatched to 1295 Howard Ave. on a report of an assault and spoke to a victim who stated she was helping her in-laws clean an apartment that they were renting. She stated she had moved some belongings of the previous tenants to the porch so they could clean and an argument started when the previous tenants arrived to pick up their belongings. A verbal argument turned into a physical confrontation. According to the victims, the assailants allegedly were armed with a screw driver, a hammer and a two-by-four and assaulted the two women, a mother and daughter. The suspects…
