1:16pm--#Bridgeport CT--Robberies seem to be the crime of choice today. Police are looking for two Hispanic males in a white van after an attempted break in the 300 block of Kent Avenue. Police are investigating.

12:50pm--Police have three in custody after a brief foot pursuit on Fairfield Avenue near Ellsworth Street after an attempted break in to the old ABC Building. Entry was made by breaking into a window in the rear of the building.
#Fairfield CT-- A resident in the 500 block of Wilson Street called police that the window to their garage was pushed in over night and there was footprints in the snow. Its not known if entry was made but police are investigating.

(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that $2.1 million to fund repairs to the state-owned Dooley Pond Dam in Middletown was approved at Friday’s meeting of the state Bond Commission. Funding will be used to increase the dam’s capacity, notably during severe weather events. “The Dooley Pond Dam is in need of repairs,” said Governor Malloy. “Especially considering the increasingly severe weather we have been having, it is necessary that we have the infrastructure in place to withstand these demands. 2:07am--#Bridgeport CT--An armed robbery occurred outside the CVS at 3710 Main Street. 2 white males and 1 white female robbed the victim of their wallet, cash and cellphone. The males displayed handguns. They fled in an older model red Chevy.

1:39pm--#Fairfield CT--A sprinkler alarm/malfunction has the firefighters on scene at the Home Depot on 541 Kings Highway Cutoff. The store has been evacuated, employees have just been let back in. Firefighters continue investigating the cause of the malfunction.
