Racing thought to be the cause for accident
10:45pm--Bridgeport CT--Racing is thought to be the cause of a multi-car accident on Lincoln Avenue Friday night. Witnesses told me that two brothers were racing when the crashed causing significant damage to four to five vehicles. Considering all the damage it is remarkable there were no reported injuries and all involved medical treatment on scene. 9:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are on scene at Fairfield Avenue and Railroad Avenue sorting through a series of events that have I-95 exit 25 off ramp closed and Fairfield Ave. at Dewey Street. It sounds on police radio traffic that a person was trying elude police in his vehicle but crashed into a wall near McDonald's . A police officer received a hand injury during the incident. There is also a three car accident at the off ramp of exit 25 on Fairfield Avenue but it is unclear if it is related to the police activity. Avoid the area!

Fire in Bridgeport
5:00pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters on scene of a fire at 190 Monroe Street. Fire on the left side on the third floor. A police officer on patrol spotted the fire and called fire fighters. He then got a girl who was reported home while her mother ran to the market.
