5 year old wandering the park
1:10am–#Bridgeport CT–Police and EMS were alerted to the Park at Lexington and Linen Street for a 5 year old girl found wandering in the park at the swing set area. The panicked parents quickly retrieved the child after a frantic search of their home and area.

Report of a pedestrian hit at Fairfield Avenue and Gillman Street. EMS and police on the way.
Armed robbery
12:02am–#Bridgeport CT–A man was robbed outside the train station on Water Street, closer to the Stratford Avenue Bridge. A weapon was displayed and he was beaten with the gun. Police and EMS on the way.
Police car hit
10:35pm–#Bridgeport CT–A passenger car just hit a police cruiser outside 1204 Capitol Avenue. No report of injuries.
Home Invasion
4:28pm–#Bridgeport CT–A woman in the 500 block of Norman Street reported to police that about an hour ago two men made their way into her apartment and took a large sum of money from the apartment. Police are investigating.

2 hit by car
12:12pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police EMS on scene where a child and an adult have been hit by a car at Englewood Avenue and Main Street. No word on injuries but two ambulances have been sent to the scene. Witnesses said that mom was on her cell phone and wasn’t paying attention when she darted into traffic.

(Bridgeport, CT) — A woman and her daughter were injured this afternoon when they were struck by a car while crossing Main Street.
Their injuries are not life threatening. The driver of the car remained at the scene.
The accident happened shortly after noon near the intersection of Englewood Avenue.
According to investigators, the mother and daughter were crossing west on Main Street when they were struck by a northbound car. The female driver attempted to brake and swerve to miss the two pedestrians.
Betty Coby, who is approximately 45 years old, and her 7-year-old daughter were struck. Both were conscious and alert at the scene.
The driver of the car was identified as Priscilla Nobrega, 22, of Fairfield. The accident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
