2 shot in leg in seperate incidents

(Bridgeport, CT – June 25, 2013) – Two men were shot in the leg Tuesday night. Officer Ferdinand Ferrao responded to the area of Granfield and Wessels avenues at about 11:45 p.m. and located the victim, Lynwood Whitley, 18, of Bridgeport.  He was shot in the upper left thigh. The victim told Detective Kenneth McKenna that a male came up to him and pointed a gun at him.  He states he struggled for the gun and was shot.  He was either unable to or unwilling to provide any further information.
