Bridgeport News: Shots Fired

2019-12-10@9:22pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police received a number of phone calls for shots fired on  Cowles Street.  Shell casings were found but so far no one or anything was reported hit.   Question to the viewers: I don't normally post all shots fired calls unless there are a lot of calls, someone is shot, a home was shot up or a school goes into lock-in/out.  Do you feel this is adequate or should I post them all?  I'm just afraid it will be like posting every time a fire alarm goes off.  There are so many of them you would ignore the postings.  Oh, keep in mind I don't hear EVERY call on these  Thoughts?   This news report was made possible…

Westport News: Car Hits Building

Bridgeport News: Alleged Stalker Captured

2019-12-10@10:10am#Bridgeport CT--Police were flagged down at the intersection of James Street & Grand Street by a male in an unknown vehicle. PD pulled over and the male stated that he broke up a male grabbing a lady on Grand Street. Officers then turned around and proceeded eastbound on Grand Street. Police then observed a female standing outside and she stated that the male has been bothering her for the past 3 days. Police were then was able to catch up to the male who flagged me down at the intersection of Lexington Avenue & Grand Street, in which he was able to point to the suspect. Ansonia News: Armed Robbery

2019-12-09 @7:30pm#Ansonia CT--The Ansonia Police Department investigated a complaint of an armed robbery at the Xpress Mart 180 Wakelee Avenue in Ansonia. Three suspects dressed in dark clothing wearing masks all armed with handguns entered the store, one held the cashier at gunpoint while the other two suspects stole the cash drawer and several items from the store. The suspects then fled on foot east on Church Street towards Howard Avenue. One of the suspects was described as a Hispanic or light skinned black male, the other two suspects could not be described other than their dark clothing.
