Trumbull Pursuit Ends In Crash At SHU

2023-01-13@7:45pm--#Trumbull CT--Trumbull Police was in pursuit of a stolen car. The car crashed in front of Sacred Heart University at 5151 Park Avenue The five occupants fled in different directions. A female suspect appeared to be injured from the crash and she EMS was called to evaluate her injuries. Fairfield News: AT&T Makes $10k Donation

State Sen. Tony Hwang (R-28) participated in a press conference Tuesday as AT&T makes a $10,000 donation to the Newtown Parent Connection. “I’m ecstatic that AT&T has decided to give this generous grant to such a worthy local nonprofit,” said Sen. Hwang. “Dorrie Carolan and the Newtown Parent Connection are really on the front lines fighting the opiate epidemic in our state. I can’t think of a better recipient for these valuable funds. All the money will go to efficient use right here in the community.” The Newtown Parent Connection is a local charity devoted to combating substance abuse through education. Sacred Heart University Student Passes

On 03/30/2017 at 7:08pm Fairfield Police Emergency Communications Center received a 911 emergency call reporting a female student choking in the Sacred Heart University, university commons area. Responding officers arrived on campus to find a 20 year old female identified as Caitlin Nelson (05/03/1996), of Clark New Jersey unresponsive and not breathing. Officers initiated immediate life-saving efforts to the victim before AMR paramedics arrived and transported her to St. Vincent’s Medical Center for additional care. Further investigation revealed that Caitlin was participating in a Greek Life Organization pancake eating contest. I am attempting to read all the emails (close to 800 at last count).
