Bridgeport News: Military Funeral NOT Shots Fired

2:00pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– At 2pm at Shiloh Baptist Church on Broad Street will be conducting a military funeral so don’t be alarmed at the shots fired.

Bullet hits house

12:03am–#Bridgeport CT– #Stratford CT–A caller near the McDonald’s on Barnum Avenue in Stratford called police for shots fired and police found nothing.  About 30 minutes later a man in the 100 block of Sage Avenue in Bridgeport, not far from Barnum Avenue called police that he heard shots fired and found a bullet hole in in house.  Police are investigating.

Bridgeport Police Investigate 11th Homicide

3:03am–#Bridgeport CT–Police investigating the 11th homicide of the year in front of the Mainport Fish and Chips at 1010 North Avenue.   Witnesses say a group of men were arguing and one shot was shot to the man’s head at point blank range.  The victim was rushed to St. Vincent’s where he was pronounced dead.

Shots fired, man robbed and pistol whipped

8:58pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police are on scene with a student who was robbed at gunpoint.  Taken was his wallet and cellphone mid block of Wayne Street.  The man was pistol whipped and a couple shots were fired, not hitting anyone or anything, at this time….
