Child Struck by Car Near McKinley School in Fairfield
A child was struck by a car on Thompson Street at the entrance to McKinley School in Fairfield. First responders arrived and reported the child was alert, sitting up, and talking with them at the scene. 8/25 Crash Shuts Highway
First responders were called to a crash on Route 8/25 northbound near Exit 2B in Bridgeport. Initial reports indicate one car struck the guardrail. There is no word on any injuries at this time. The highway is currently shutdown northbound.
