(Bridgeport, CT – May 8, 2013) — At approximately 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, a gunman held up the Subway restaurant located at 2835 Fairfield Ave. The robber was described as a black male who was armed with a large silver revolver.

The male walked into the Subway wearing a black mask covering his face and during the robbery he took his mask off and the video was able to capture clear images.  Approximately 45 minutes later, Milford police reported a robbery in their town at 186 Bridgeport Ave. in that city’s Devon section.  The suspect fit the same description.

Bridgeport Police Detective Michael Fiumidinisi met with Milford detectives and reviewed their video, and police were able to determine that the suspect was the same, although his face was covered.

A witness gave them a vehicle description of a 1996-2000 White Acura Cl with blue LED headlights.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Fiumidinisi at 203-581-5246.subway3
