5:40pm–#Bridgeport CT–Greater Bridgeport Transit called Bridgeport Police of an alligator in the street outside the bus station on Water Street. Police and I rushed to the scene.   Police had trouble locating the gator but found out it was a passenger on the Port Jefferson Ferry with a three foot plastic alligator.  I couldn’t resist telling the officers as I left the scene “in a while crocodile!”
