Video Report–Stubborn Arson Car Fire–

Just before 2:30amfirefighters were called to a report of a car that crashed into a structure that burst into flames on Asylum Avenue.

It turns out to be a car near a building that was intentionally set and created a challenge and a spectacular blaze.

As you can seen from the video a line of gasoline from the vehicle ran down the curb but a quick thinking firefighter spread dirt from the curb to stop the spread of the fire down the street.

Quick thinking from the firefighters and assistant fire chief on scene kept the fire just to the vehicle and not into the building.
