2:00pm–#Bridgeport CT–A hoax call from a student inside Blackham School located on Thorme Street put the school on lockdown. The caller on a 911 only phone called 911 that there was shots fired in room 119. A school resource officer arrived within seconds and immediately went to room 119 to find no incident inside he school. About 20 police officers along with EMS were dispatched to the school as a precaution. A large group of children playing outside for recess were ushered by police to a different city street until the scene was cleared. The police did locate the phone and student who made the false call. Police remain on scene investigating.
