Hunter with legal documents arrest for town ordinance
Westport CT– 12/23/2013,–William O’Brien of Fairfield, CT was issued an infraction after officers responded to a complaint of suspicious people in the woods. O’Brien was found cross bow hunting and had harvested a deer. While he did have a valid hunting permit and a signed private land consent form from the landowner, he was issued an infraction for 26-97 violation of Westport’s Town Ordinance against hunting.
Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed
#Bridgeport, CT – Saturday, Dec. 21– A delivery driver was robbed in the PT Barnum housing complex.
Officer Donald Bensey was dispatched to the location just after midnight.
The driver stated that he was making a delivery when he was robbed by two males who intimated that they had a gun. The robbers made off with cash, a pepperoni pizza and two-liter soda bottle.

Road Rage at the Mall
3:35pm–#Trumbull CT–Trumbull Mall Security calling police for two individuals with road rage fighting over the same parking spot in the lower parking level by Macy’s. One car has blocked another in and threatening the driver. Merry Christmas and good will to mankind…….

Attempted Car Break Ins
3:40am–#Bridgeport CT–If you park on Iranistan Avenue especially in the 1500 block you may want to check your car. Numerous calls that youths are trying to break in to cars in the area.
Tomlinson’s NOT on fire
3:33am–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters called to Tomlinson’s Restaurant at the corner of Boston Avenue and Barnum Avenue for structure fire. Turns out to be workers on the roof that set the alarm off.
Assault Investigation
3:21am–#Bridgeport CT–Police are sorting out an assault that took place in the 200 block of Jones Avenue. Possibly 2 male suspects, one with a gun who assaulted a woman. This sounds like one that will take a while to be sorted. You count on us to tell you what is happening. Not a lot of details beyond this report.
