#Bridgeport, CT — — Detectives are investigating an overnight incident in which two people were shot. At approximately 4:18 a.m., police responded to the rear of 737 E. Main St on a report of a shooting. The shooting occurred at closing time for an after-hours club. As the patrons were exiting the club, an argument ensued and fight broke out. Two people were wounded. Christian Roque, 33, was shot multiple times in the torso and was transported to Bridgeport Hospital by ambulance. The second individual, Luis Santiago, 23, arrived at Bridgeport Hospital in a car with gunshot wounds.
Both individuals were listed in stable condition.
The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.
