5:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man was shot in the stomach outside 29 Laurel Court.  The man appeared to be alert and conscious as he was being placed in the ambulance. 4:40pm--Bridgeport CT--A mother has called police that her 14 year old son was assaulted by 3 other teens while on Brooks Street.  The son said one of them had a black gun.  Police are investigating. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the public about the potential for abuse of medications. “Our primary concern is safety,” said Police Chief Joseph Gaudett. “We know the potential for abuse of prescription drugs.
