1:40pm–#Bridgeport CT– A motorcyclist was injured when he  crashed into a van at the intersection of King Street and Fairfield Avenue.  Police tell me that a van inched its way onto Fairfield Avenue and the motorcyclist had to dump his bike to avoid greater injury impacting the van.  The bike clipped the van as opposed to a full impact. Police said the motorcyclist was wearing riding equipment including a helmet which further protected him.  EMS transported the biker to the hospital.

Our sponsor at Interstate Batteries remind us that there will a lot of motorcyclist on the road this weekend remind us to look twice before entering an intersection.
