#Westport CT--12/1---The Westport Fire Department responded to a single car motor vehicle accident on I-95 North Exit 18 to 19. The vehicle was off the roadway into the woods. The three occupants were apparently uninjured in the accident and refused medical transport to the hospital. The Westport Fire Department responded with one Chief officer’s car, one Rescue and one Engine.

#Bridgeport CT--According to a Connecticut State Police arrest warrant application dated November 24, 2015 charged Clive Higgins who resigned from the Bridgeport Police Department on July 6, 2015 with allegedly falsely reporting and incident in the second degree after stating he found a racially charged "hate letter" in his personal mailbox at the the Bridgeport Police Department on February 9, 2015. Higgins surrendered himself at Troop I in Bethany after learning of the outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was processed and released on a written promise to appear at GA2 in Bridgeport on December 12, 2015. The letter was written on Bridgeport Police letterhead. Police are looking for a black male six foot tall in a black hoodie who fled in a black sedan.
