On December 5th, 2016, Westport PD Officer’s Fearon and Sabin were working a side job on King’s Hwy. North, when they overheard a broadcast for a stolen car out of Stratford. The Officer’s observed the vehicle a short time later and stopped the vehicle without incident. The two occupants were detained and an investigation was initiated. The following suspects were arrested:

Artay Drinks (DOB: 12/22/72) of 23 Murray St. in Ansonia

Naima West (DOB: 07/27/1980) of 702 Central Ave. in Bridgeport

and charged with the following crimes:

Drinks was charged with Larceny 3 rd Degree and 21a-279a, Possession of Narcotics

West was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 3rd

Drinks is being held on $10,000 bond at Westport PD.

West is being held on $5,000.00 bond at Westport PD.
