Westport News: Larceny/Forgery

#Westport CT--In December of 2016, Westport Officers were dispatched to a Newtown Turnpike address on a report of stolen bank checks. The victim noticed that multiple checks were stolen from his checkbook and cashed. The victim reported that the checks were all made out to "Cash"  and had his fraudulent signature on them. The total loss was $1,900.00. The victim stated there is a handyman named Ralph that has access to the interior of the house. Detectives learned that the checks were deposited at a Bank of America, into an account they were able to connect to a Ralph Esposito. Governor Sends Guidance On Puerto Rican Students Arriving To CT Schools

HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy and State Department of Education Commissioner Dianna R. #Westport Stranger Danger

#Westport CT--This morning, October 03, 2017 at approximately 07:20 am, a juvenile female was approached at her bus stop at the intersection of Clinton Avenue and Breezy Knoll by a suspicious male. The juvenile reported it was a white male, age 40 to 50, with brown hair and a bald spot. The juvenile stated the male first walked up and down Clinton Avenue, then got into an older green Jeep Grand Cherokee. The suspicious male asked the juvenile twice if she wanted to see the cute dog in the back of his car.
