Milford News: Shots Fire On I-95

5:15PMish--#Milford CT--State police are reporting that Troop G had received reports of a an unknown person had discharged a handgun striking another vehicle on on I-95 southbound near the exit 36 off ramp.  Police say it could have originated anywhere between exits 41 to 35.  Troop G is asking anyone who had witnessed this incident to contact Trooper Costella by phone at 203-696-2500 or email him at christopher.costella@ct.gov   This news report is made possible by:

Fairfield News: Regional Fire School Open House

#Fairfield CT-- Yesterday, the Fairfield Regional Fire School at 205 Richard White Way conducted an open house for first responders in the Fairfield/New Haven County area.  Assistant Fire Chief Scott Bisson said it was to help the first responders to become more proficient at their job.  There was a mix of outdoor training props classroom training provided.  There were private company vendors on hand to show first responders what is available to help them and it is a great way for the first responder to learn of new items being released to the market to make their job safer.

#Bridgeport CT–#Norwalk Man Arrested In August Homicide

#Bridgeport CT--Today, David Shavers of Norwalk was arrested and charged with the murder of Cadell Moore that occurred on Sixth Street. The investigation revealed that Shavers had an ongoing feud with members of a local street gang that started over a drug dispute. On the morning of August 24, 2017, Shavers drove to the area and opened fire on a group sitting on the porch of the house at 54 Sixth Street. The victim was working on his car in front of that house and was shot in the head and killed. There is no evidence that Shavers had a direct relationship with Moore or that Moore was the intended target. Shavers is being held on $750,000 bond. Thank you to…
